New Mobile Banking App Launches with Biometric Authentication

July 14, 2026 5 min read By ABS Group Technology Team

ABS Group Holdings has launched a completely redesigned mobile banking application, bringing biometric authentication, real-time spending insights, and advanced card management tools to all 2 million customers — at no additional cost.

What's New in the App

The redesigned ABS Group app, available now on iOS and Android, represents three years of development and direct input from over 50,000 customer beta testers. The update delivers a fundamentally faster, safer, and more intuitive banking experience.

Face ID & Fingerprint Login

Log in to your account in under one second with Face ID or fingerprint authentication. Available on all supported iOS and Android devices.

Real-Time Spending Insights

View categorised spending breakdowns, monthly budgets, and trend comparisons — all updated instantly as transactions clear.

Instant Card Freeze

Misplaced your card? Freeze and unfreeze it instantly from the app — no call to customer service required.

Instant Transfer Notifications

Get push notifications for every transaction the moment it occurs — before it even appears on your statement.

"Security and simplicity are not opposites — they should coexist. This app is proof that the safest way to bank can also be the easiest."

— David K. Osei, COO, ABS Group Holdings

Security Architecture

The new app features end-to-end encryption for all data in transit, on-device biometric processing (your biometric data never leaves your phone), and a real-time fraud detection engine powered by machine learning. The system flags suspicious transactions and temporarily pauses activity pending customer confirmation.

In independent security testing conducted by CyberSec Partners Ltd., the ABS Group mobile app received the highest possible rating — a designation held by fewer than 4% of financial apps globally.
